It Gets Hard

What does it really mean to "love the least of these"? Just who are the "leave of these"?
Jesus said, whatever we do unto the least of these, we have done unto Him.' The opposite is also true of this and it is time the Church of Jesus Christ, wakes up to this reality. While we do not, 3500 children per day DIE. Image Bearers DIE. Mothers and Fathers are forever impacted by the fact they slaughtered their own children. The "least of these" are being led to the slaughter. I would also like to add, the "least of these" are those who are blinded in their sin and being led down to Hell. We are not in the "least of these" because we, as Christians, have been adopted by God. Our Father, is the God of the Universe.

And I get angry -  perhaps what should be called a "righteous indignation" against evil.  And angry at myself that I could be so much better at what I do. I try and fail...miserably. Praise God He doesn't wipe us out every time we 'mess up'.

Ever since I have adopted the ideology and begun participating in the movement of Abolish Human Abortion,  I have begun to realize just how much I have failed in the past; and how much I can improve in the future, only through the power of the Lord Jesus. How much we have compromised with the lives of Image Bearers of God. Precious souls for whom Jesus died. These people had a precious purpose as to why they were created, to Glorify God, the Creator of the Universe. Reading the words of former Abolitionists, I realize just how much more I can truly love people. How much I fail at that ever day. How many things I hold onto that I shouldn't. Why? Because I'm human. That's no excuse though, I have Christ living inside me and He is slowly, by His Grace and Patience transforming into the Image of His dear Son Jesus. That's what Grace is for.Jesus tells us to love as he did: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another." (John 13:34)  How do we do something we're incapable of doing? How do we love people who go against our very nature to Love?

To love like Jesus, we need to understand a simple truth: We cannot live the Christian life on our own. We need the Holy Spirit. And you understand the real need we have for Him in our lives, when out at an abortuary; or a Planned Parenthood where people know they send women off to other murder mills, to kill their children. Then to add to this, this work, this work of Abolition of Human abortion is really just for simple Christians, who want to love all their neighbors being led to the slaughter. Sooner or later, in the midst of our frustration (especially mine) we come to the conclusion that we're doing something wrong. It's not working. Our best efforts just don't cut it.

And this is where this comes in, John 15:5 "Apart from me you can do nothing." We can't love like Jesus on our own. In fact, we can't do anything in the Christian life on our own.

All of us want to love like Jesus. We want to be generous, forgiving, and compassionate enough to love people unconditionally. But no matter how hard we try, it just doesn't work. Our humanness gets in the way.

Praise the LORD, for JESUS Christ, who convicts, changes and challenges us to Love as He loves. Gives us a love, that can help you focus on Jesus on the cruel Cross, while people insult and mock you; when they insult and mock you, they ultimately are mocking Jesus Christ. Don't lose heart...and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, "Apart from me you can do nothing".  Jesus already experienced this mocking and is ready to forgive these people and make them His very own. Why should we respond with anything but Love, if the king of the Universe, didn't even respond like that on the Cross?

Human beings have worth to God, because we are created in His Image. I am a creation of Almighty God and so are you. However, we are NOT worthy of Heaven, because there is none good and we all fall short of God's perfect standard. There are NO worthless human beings, just un-worthy ones. This goes for murderers to liars. I am guilty of breaking all the Ten Commandments, whether in thought or deed. God loves us because we are created in His Image. His Love and Wrath are balanced out at the cross for His un-worthy and undeserving creation. Thank you, Jesus. Give me Your Spirit to reach people with the message that they are not worthy, but He is. That they are not worthless regardless who or what they have done, because they are Image bearers, for Whom Christ died for.

" He prayed for their forgiveness And bowed His battered head And no one knew the meaning Of the final words He Said.... They searched His face for anger For vengeance in his stare, Instead of eyes that burned with hate A look of love was there..."

Matthew 5: 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor[g] and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,[h] 45 that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren[i] only, what do you do more than others? Do not even the tax collectors[j] do so?
